Who We Are
Established in 1996, GMG Bakery Products is a family owned bakery selling directly to wholesalers and retail outlets. The business is managed by two brothers, Jack and Chris Gallen.  GMG Bakery is located just outside of Reading, Pennsylvania in the heart of the Pennsylvania Dutch country.  It is ideally situated amid several major cities: 1 Hour from Philadelphia, 2 hours from Baltimore and 2.5 hours from New York City & Washington, D.C..

GMG Bakery started as a manufacturer of “Pour & Bake” mixes for local supermarkets in the eastern part of Pennsylvania.  In 1998, Madison Avenue’s Better Baker contracted GMG Bakery to be the exclusive bakery for their gourmet Low-Fat line of cookies, biscotti, brownies, muffins & sweet breads sold throught out the Mid-Atlantic region. 

In 2002, GMG Bakery acquired the brand and recipe rights to Madison Avenue’s Better Baker. Our steady growth and  customers demands have forced us to relocate for the third time.  Our new 15,000 ft/sq manufacturing facility is located at 1100 Park Road in Blandon, Pennsylvania.  We continue to do contract baking as well as distribute our own line of specialty baked goods.

Cookies, biscotti, sweet breads, muffins and brownies. Pies, pie crusts, apple dumplings, funny cakes, shoofly pies, brownies, blondies, all natural tea breads and crumb cakes and iced cakes.

Services and Capabilities
We do research, prototype and fully outsourced baking.  We can customize and brand your products while handling all aspects of production from mixing to final delivery.  We currenty own and oprerated two giant state of the art ovens that can pump out a gazillilon cookeis per minute.  Our packaging and assembly process can be tailored to meet your specific branding requirements.   To further meet the demands of our customers GMG Bakery has become Dairy Kosher.
